Ezer Mizion, Israel's largest health support organization, provides assistance to individuals with emotional health issues, focusing on cancer patients, their families, and those traumatized by war. Ezer Mizion offers professional therapy, including individual, family, and group counseling.

Specialized emotional health programs incorporate art, music, play and animal-assisted therapies, enabling individuals to express their emotions non-verbally. Understanding the need for continuous support, Ezer Mizion operates a 24-hour hotline to provide immediate assistance and guidance.

Educational workshops for families and caregivers promote a comprehensive approach to emotional health recovery. This support empowers those affected by trauma to rebuild their lives with resilience and hope.

Rehabilitative employment centres in Israel provide personalized vocational training for individuals with emotional challenges, facilitating their integration into the workforce. By offering vocational training and job placement services, Ezer Mizion helps these individuals develop essential skills, promoting greater independence and self-sufficiency. Additionally, as part of this initiative, they operate a fully staffed bakery. The bakery products are used to stock hospital carts, allowing coffee and baked goods to be offered to visitors and many more.

Ezer Mizion helps 50,000 Israelis annually through our emotional support services.

Sarah

Sarah, a survivor of the terrors of the October 7th Nova festival, found herself grappling with regular nightmares and high levels of anxiety. The traumatic events she endured during the festival left a deep emotional impact, making it challenging for her to cope with daily life. Recognizing the need for emotional health support, Sarah reached out to Ezer Mizion, a renowned organization specializing in trauma therapy. They promptly connected her with a specialist who understood the complexities of her experiences and provided personalized therapy to help her heal and regain a sense of safety and stability.

Dovid

When Dovid was just six years old, his life changed forever when his father tragically lost his life in a terrorist attack. As the only boy among his four sisters, Dovid’s mother felt a deep concern about his need for a male role model in his life. With no other family in Israel to turn to, she sought help from Ezer Mizion. Dovid was quickly enrolled in their Big Brother program, where he was matched with Amir. From the very beginning, their bond was special. They would meet regularly, engaging in fun activities and forming a deep connection. Now, at sixteen years old, Dovid still maintains a close and meaningful relationship with Amir, who has become not just a mentor but a true big brother figure in his life.

Maya

Maya was diagnosed with leukemia, a type of cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow. Leukemia is a challenging condition that requires intensive treatment such as chemotherapy to target and eliminate cancerous cells. Maya’s journey through chemotherapy is both physically and emotionally demanding, but her resilience and the support of her family and therapies at Oranit Guest House provide her with the strength and hope she needs to face each day with courage.
