Ezer Mizion, Israel’s largest health support organization, is dedicated to helping children overcome challenges and thrive. Each year, thousands of children across Israel benefit from our wide range of services — from medical support and equipment lending to therapy programs, summer camp, daycare for children with special needs, and early childhood interventions that prevent small developmental delays from becoming lifelong obstacles.
As demand for children’s services has surged since the war, Ezer Mizion has doubled its programming to meet the growing need. While government funding remains at the same level, it now covers only half of the expanded programs. With national resources redirected toward war efforts, there is no additional government funding available. Without bridging this 50% gap, countless children risk losing access to the therapies, care, and opportunities they need to grow, learn, and thrive.
Our Children’s Division offers a network of care that includes art, music, and animal-assisted therapies, medical transport for young patients, adaptive equipment for mobility and independence, and specialized camps that give children joy, healing, and hope. We also train and empower educators to identify and address developmental challenges early on, impacting thousands of classrooms and giving kids the best chance to succeed.
This year, we are turning the spotlight on our Children’s Division with our Ezer Mizion’s Helping Kids Campaign — to teach our community about its breadth, and to ensure that every child in need receives the care, attention, and opportunities they deserve.
