Due to new regulations set by the World Marrow Donor Association (WMDA), bone marrow donor swabbing may now only take place within a registry’s home country. As a result, Ezer Mizion will no longer conduct bone marrow donor swabbing outside of Israel. This applies only to swabbing. We will absolutely continue fundraising, awareness, and patient support in Canada and worldwide.

Our commitment to every patient remains unwavering. Ezer Mizion Israel has a strong donor recruitment effort. Through IDF enlistment and ongoing recruitment in yeshivot, over 10’s of thousands of donors continue to be added each month to our registry, significantly increasing the chances of finding a match for anyone who needs.

While Ezer Mizion Canada cannot host swabbing events, we strongly encourage eligible individuals to register at approved drives.

If you cannot attend in person, at-home swab kits are also available through Canada Blood Services.
